The University of Engineering and Technology, generally known as UET, is among the best universities of Pakistan in higher education. Not only this, UET also holds a significant position in QS world ranking list. UET is a government institute with best faculty.
ECAT Test For UET:
Firstly, to apply for University of Engineering and Technology, you need to get through ECAT test. ECAT test is UET’s own test and it is also held in UET. However, University of Engineering and Technology will held ECAT on July 14, 2019.
Basically, ECAT consists of 100 multiple choice questions (mcqs). Each question carries 4 marks and in case of wrong answer there will be a negative marking of -1 mark while unattempted carries 0 mark.
Important Dates:
Entry Test Token will be available from 10th June 2019 to 2nd July 2019.
Last Date of Admit Card will be 3rd July 2019.
Application Filling Last Date will be from 10th June 2019 to 2nd July 2019 (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM).
Result of entry test will be announced on 20 July 2019 Sunday.
Moreover, Answerkey of ECAT will be announced on 14 July 2019 (Test Date Midnight).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Studentshould have obtained at least 60% marks in F.Sc / ICS / DAE / B.Sc / B.Tech(Pass) Examination.
- Student should have appeared in the entry test arranged by this University.
Merit Formula:
- FSc Marks: 70% Weightage
- Entry Test: 30 % Weightage
