Army Medical College Rawalpindi AMC Merit List (2023-2024)

Army Medical College (AMC) is a constituent of National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS). Students who want to take admission in AMC for MBBS and BDS, need to apply by appearing in NUMS entry test.

NUMS, on the other hand, has authorized National Testing Service (NTS) to conduct their entry test. This test is conducted to grant admission to all federally owned Army Medical Colleges in Pakistan.

So basically this blog is created to provide some information regarding the Aggregate and to share the 2023-24 merit list of Army Medical College.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates age limit :
  • Minimum = 17 years
  • Maximum = 25 years
• It is mandatory for candidate to be un-married at the time of admission
• Candidates need to have the FSc Premedical / Equivalent certificate, with the subject combination mentioned below:
  • Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
• Applicants with 60% aggregate marks in FSc  are eligible to apply.

How to Calculate AMC Merit Aggregate

Final selection is based on the aggregate percentage scored by the candidate. For FSC students the AMC Merit Lists are calculated as follows:-

• Matric or equivalent: 10%
• HSSC or equivalent: 40%
• Entry Test ( NUMS MDCAT ): 50%

Equivalence certificates (obtained from IBCC) are require for O/A Level applicants.

• O level equivalence: 10%
• A level equivalence: 40%
• SAT 2 or Entry Test score: 50%

AMC Merit Lists:

Online registrations for the NUMS entry test (by NTS) were opened from 03 July to 24 July 2023. NUMS conducted the test on 03 September and then again in October.

After Getting Admission:

• The chosen candidates must submit the fee before last date.

• In case of any inconvenience, contact NUMS before the last date after which no complaint will be heard.

• The fee must be paid as per requirement of PMC (previously called PMDC), otherwise the candidate’s admission will be canceled.
