Army Medical College is affiliated with NUMS (National University Of Medical Sciences) and is one of the most prestigious medical colleges in Pakistan. However the merit for AMC is rather high due to it being the only public sector university which is gained admission into after giving NUMS Entry Test.

PKR 220,000 /year ( For Pakistani Students)

USD 12,000 per year ( For foreign Students)

• 110 to 120 seats total
• Half of them are reserved for cadets

FOR BDS:

PKR 220,000 /year ( For Pakistani Students)

USD 12,000 per year ( For foreign Students)

• 20 to 40 seats total
• Half of them are reserved for cadets

As you can see the Army Medical College fees for both MBBS and BDS programs is identical and obviously there are more applicants for MBBS program.

When the Army Medical College fees is compared to other government and private medical colleges in Pakistan, it is in the middle. The government medical colleges have a tuition fees of roughly PKR 25,000 per year which is very cheap compared to AMC fees but the number of seats and colleges are very less so that is very difficult.

Compared to private medical colleges who have a starting tuition fees of PKR 950,000 per year, the Army Medical College fees is very low. Hence you can understand why there are so many applicants for AMC especially as it is also an established university.
