ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Students should secure a minimum of 60% in SSC and HSSC. to secure admission to NUST university
  • Candidates after clearing intermediate Part 1 can also apply for the test conducted by NUST but keep this point in mind that admission will be confirmed after the result of intermediate Part II.
  • All non-FSc candidates (O/A levels students) must have a certificate issued by IBCC, with a bare minimum of 60% marks and relevant subjects.
  • Another point you should keep in mind is that merit for the BS Applied Biosciences program will be set/ dependant on complete FSc / A Level or equivalent qualification (as per IBCC Equivalence Certificate) result.

TEST PATTERN

Engineering:

  • ​Mathematics ​40%  ( 80 MCQs  from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Physics 30%  ( 60 MCQs from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Chemistry 15%  ( 30 MCQs  from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​English 10%  ( 20 MCQs  from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Intelligence 5%  ( 10 MCQs  from this subject will be included in the test

Computer Science:

  • ​Mathematics 40%   ( 80 MCQs ) from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Physics 25%  ( 50 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test
  • Computer Science 20%  ( 40 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​English 10%  ( 20 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Intelligence 5% ( 10 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test

 BS Applied Biosciences:

  • Biology ​30%  ( 60 MCQs)  from this subject will be included in the test
  • Chemistry 30% ( 60 MCQsfrom this subject will be included in the test
  • Physics 25%  ( 50 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​English 10%  ( 20 MCQs)  from this subject will be included in the test
  • ​Intelligence 5%  ( 10 MCQs)  from this subject will be included in the test

Business Studies / Social Sciences:

  • Verbal (English) ​40%  ( 80 MCQs) from this subject will be included in the test
  • Quantitative (Mathematics)  ​40% ( 80 MCQs)  from this subject will be included in the test
  • Intelligence 20%  ( 40 MCQs)  from this subject will be included in the test
