The National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, mainly known as FAST-NUCES, is one of the major universities of Pakistan. FAST-NUCES is renowned for it’s quality and holds the significant position in top universities of Pakistan. Not only this, the University also provides recreational facilities to students.

Campuses

FAST-NUCES has five campuses at Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Chiniot-Faisalabad.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have taken the HSSC or an equivalent examination and are awaiting result are eligible to apply.

Admissions Schedule of FAST-NUCES

For BBA and BS:

The last date for submission of application form is July 8, 2019. The admission test will held from July 9, 2019. Selected candidates will be declared on July 22, 2019. Classes will held from August 19, 2019.

For MBA, MS and PHD:

The last date for submission of application form is July 8, 2019. The admission test will held from July 16, 2019. Interviews will held from July 24 to July 26, 2019. Selected candidates will be declared on July 22, 2019. Classes will held from August 19, 2019.

Entry Test for FAST-NUCES

FAST-NUCES only entertains its own test. Moreover, FAST-NUCES test for BS consists of 10% English, 20% Analytical skills and IQ, 20% Basic maths, 40% advance maths and 10% Physics portions. Whereas, for BBA and BS (Accounting and Finance) the test consists of 15% English, 15% English Essay Writing, 30% Analytical skills and IQ and 40% Basic maths portions.

Scholarships and Loans

In each group, top three students are provided with merit scholarships. However, the continuation of merit scholarship is subject to maintaining semester GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Not only this, there are also other scholarships such as HEC, PEEF scholarships and FAST-NUCES also provides scholarships to Sindh and Baluchistan students. Additionally, the university also provides bank loans and study loans.
