FAST Engineering Test guide:

  • English: 10%
  • Analytical Skills and  IQ: 20%
  • Basic Math: 10%
  • Advance Math: 40%
  • Physics: 20%

FAST CS Test guide:

  • English: 10%
  • Analytical Skills and IQ: 20%
  • Basic Math: 20%
  • Advanced  Math: 50%

Eligibility Criteria Set by Fast University:

BS (Civil Engineering/Electrical Engineering)

Eligibility:

  • Candidate should secure at least 60% marks in SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination 
  • Also At least 60% marks in the Pre-Engineering or an equivalent examination.
  • Must have studied Mathematics at the intermediate  level.

Selection Criteria for BS (Civil Engineering/ Electrical Engineering):

Admission on the basis of NTS-NAT Marks

  • Marks obtained in NTS NAT IE. matters for the selection 
  • Cut-off(minimum marks that a candidate need to score ) marks to be determined by the Fast University.

Admission on the basis of NU Admission Test:

NU Admission Test :

NU Admission test is an admission test taken on a computer. For more information related to NU Admission Test click here :

NU Admission test

  • Merit List is set by assigning 50% weight to marks obtained in HSSC (part-I) / equivalent exam.
  • 50% power/ weight is assigned NU Admission Test score
  • Point to be noted here is that if Intermediate result is not accessible then  Matriculation marks are used and multiplied by a factor of 0.9 (to compare/link  it to average Intermediate marks).

Admission on the basis of SAT score:

  •  Combined score of 1,000 or more in the SAT-I examination is vital
  • At least 550 in the SAT-II (Math Level IIC) examination is mandatory .

BS (Computer Science):

Eligibility:

  • Candidates should secure at least 60% marks in SSC (Matric) or an equivalent examination 
  • Candidates should secure at least 50% marks in the Intermediate or an equivalent examination.
  • Should have studied Mathematics at the intermediate level.

 BS Computer Science Selection Criteria:

Admission on the basis of NTS-NAT Marks:

  • Selection is dependant on marks obtained in NTS NAT IE, or NAT-ICS.
  • Cut-off marks ( minimum marks need to secure the admission ) to be determined by the University.

Admission on the basis of NU Admission Test:

  • Merit List is set by allotting 50% weight to marks secured in Intermediate (part-I) (or an equivalent exam) AND
  • 50% weight is allocated to score attained in NU Admission Test.
  • In case, Intermediate result is not available/ accessible  Matriculation marks are used and multiplied by a factor of 0.9 (to link it to average Intermediate marks)

Admission on the basis of SAT score:

  • Combined score of 1,000 or more in the SAT-I examination is vital
  • At least 550 in the SAT-II (Math Level IIC) examination is mandatory

BBA/BS (Accounting & Finance)

Eligibility:

  • Candidates should secure at least 60% marks in Matric or an equivalent examination
  • At least 50% marks in intermediate or an equivalent examination.

Selection Criteria for BBA/ Accounting and finance:

Admission on the basis of NTS-NAT Marks

  • Selection is dependent on marks secured/gained in NTS NAT IE, NAT-ICS, NAT-ICOM, or NAT-IGS.
  • Cut-off marks (minimum marks that needs to be secured) to be determined by the University.

Admission on the basis of NU Admission Test

  • Merit List is set by allotting  50% weight to marks obtained in HSSC (part-I) (or an equivalent exam) 
  • 50% weight is allotted to score gained  in NU Admission Test.
  • In case, Intermediate result is not available, Matriculation marks are utilized and multiplied by a factor of 0.9 (to connect it to average Intermediate marks.

Admission on the basis of SAT score

  • Combined score of 1,000 or more in the SAT-I examination is mandatory
