How to apply for GIKI (GIK Institute)

Go to the official website Login, fill in the online application and then submit the form online.
Please students make it sure that you upload only color photograph.( It should be recent one)
The next step is that you have to Print Bank Challan.
Please note the processing fee

Rs. 3000 for single test

Rs. 4500 for both tests,

If you are applying for Financial aid then charges of extra 1000 will be included)

After making payment in Bank you have to Fill in paid bank challan details in your profile.
The next step is entry test. Reach test center with your Admit Card , original Matric or O-Level Certificate and Paid challan GIKI copy on the pre-set date.
You can check result of entry test online.
In case of admission is offered you have to send check listed documents to admission office of GIK.

Students can Optionally apply for scholarship or loan.

Applicants are allowed to apply online for Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) , FATA scholarships and Financial Assistance (Interest Free Loan), Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Students can apply for the remaining scholarship after joining the GIK Institute – GIKI.

Please keep in mind that the continuance of scholarships is very much dependent on satisfactory academic performance of the students who have applied for the scholarship and the next thing that matters is the policies of the donor agencies.

Basic Eligibility Criteria For BS Engineering and Computer Science Programs:

Applicants applying for admission need to meet one of the following criteria:

1. Candidates need to pass intermediate (Pre-Engineering with subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) with 60% score or above marks each in Mathematics, Physics and Overall.

2. Students who have passed intermediate with (Pre-Medical) need to give Additional Mathematics exam and the score should be 60% or above each in Mathematics, Physics and Overall.

3. Please keep in mind that A-Level in three subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with D or above grade each in Mathematics & Physics and O-Level in eight subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science, Urdu, Islamic Studies & Pakistan Studies) is mandatory for local applicants and for those who are applying for abroad, five subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science) .

4. Students who have American or Canadian High School Diploma or International Baccalaureate Diploma with Mathematics (with Calculus), Physics and Chemistry with 60% or above marks, as per IBCC equivalence formula, each in Mathematics, Physics & Overall are eligible to apply in GIKI

5. Students who have passed B.Sc. (Mathematics & Physics) with minimum 60% marks each in Mathematics, Physics and overall are eligible to apply for this program.

6. Students with three years Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in relevant technology from a Pakistani Board of Technical Education with minimum 60% marks each in Mathematics, Physics and Overall are eligible to apply for this program.

NOTE:

Candidates who have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry background are eligible to apply for all Programs including Computer Science or Computer Engineering in GIK Institute.

Candidates who have Computer Science/Computer Studies background instead of Chemistry at their intermediate or A- Level are only eligible to apply for Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Basic Eligibility Criteria for BS Management Sciences

Candidates for admission need to meet one of Following Criteria:

1. If you have score 60 % or above in HSSC (Pre-Engg), HSSC (General Science), HSSC (ICS), HSSC (Pre-Medical), HSSC (Humanities).(One of them) then you are eligible to apply in GIK Institute.

2. Crtiteria for A-Levels students is A-Level in three subjects with Ds or above grades in two principal subjects and O-Level in eight subjects for the local candiadtes and in five subjects for those applying from abroad with overall 60% or above equivalence as per IBCC formula.

3. Candidates who have American or Canadian High School Diploma or International Baccalaureate Diploma with overall 60% or above marks, as per IBCC equivalence formula are eligible to apply for GIKI (GIK Institute).
