Undergraduae programs offered by Mehran University

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)
• Bachelor of Science in Garments Manufacturing (BSGM)
• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (BSM)
• Bachelor of Studies in English (BSE)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students who have passed intermediate exams and have secured at least 60 % marks from any recognized board of Pakistan or from foreign country are eligible to apply only in the disciplines mentioned against them. The discipline chart is given below:

• Candidates who were rusticated, debarred  from any institute before applying to Mehran university are not eligible to apply for admission. If in any case students who are applying for admission do not disclose the information of being rusticated or debarred from any institute to the mehran university then admission will get cancelled immediately  after university discover such facts.
• Those candidates who have been found guility in any immoral or corrupt activity are not eligible to apply for Mehran University.

Weightage Formula

•  Matriculation  = 0.10
• Intermediate    = 0.30
• Entry Test       = 0.60

If a student has secured 70% marks in matriculation , 65% marks in HSSC/Intermediate  and 50% marks in entry test then

CPN = 70*0.1+60*0.3+50*0.6 =7+18+30= 55 percent

Students who will fail to secure above than 40% in entry test are also not eligible to apply for admission . Entry test is also known as pre-admission test.

Part 1:

English

• Vocabulary
• Grammar
• Comprehension
• Sentence correction

Total Questions = 30

PART 1= 30 marks

Part 2:

Quantitative Analysis

• Series problems
• Algebraic problems
• Arithmetic problems
• Geometric and trigonometric problems

Total Questions = 30

Part 2 = 30 marks

Part 3:

General Science

Total Questions = 20

Part 3= 20 marks

Part 4 :

Intelligence Quotient

Toal questions = 20

Part 4 = 20 marks
